Train Heartnet (繝医Ξ繧､繝ｳ�昴ワ繝ｼ繝医ロ繝�ヨ Torein Hﾄ》onetto) is the one of the four primary protagonists in the anime and manga Black Cat. In the beginning of both the manga and the anime Train is a ruthless assassin hired by the organization known as Chronos. He is given the number XIII by Chronos because he is the "bringer of bad luck", hence his nickname being the Black Cat. In the very beginning of the anime, and a little ways into the manga Train meets a woman by the name of Saya Minatsuki. After this fateful meeting Train begins to learn the ways of what he calls the "stray cat" (i.e. do what you want, as you want). After what seems like a few days of knowing Saya he quits Chronos and goes about on his own. After his change of heart, he works as a sweeper alongside Sven Vollfied and Eve. He is never seen without his cat collar (a red ribbon with a golden bell hanging from it) around his neck, which was fashioned for him by Eve after their meeting (only in the anime). After leaving Chronos Train never returns, though he does keep his weapon, a gun made of Orihalcum that was given to him by number I of Chronos: Sephiria. For a while he views Chronos as an enemy, but in the anime he asks for their help in the end.

About Minatsuki Saya

Saya Minatsuki (繧ｵ繝､�昴Α繝翫ヤ繧ｭ) is a minor character from the anime and manga series Black Cat. She is an accomplished sweeper, whose fun loving spirit and easy likability made her Train's first real friend. Her involvement with him lead to his more human outlook on life and his departure of the Chrono numbers. However, she was killed by Creed Diskenth, who was jealous of her relationship with Train, and believed that she had "bewitched" the ex-Chronos Number. She died in Train's arms during a fireworks show, and told him that he could "forget about her." Presumably, this was her way of telling him not to hold onto the past and seek vengeance for her death. Though she is deceased during the course of the manga series, her "spirit" lives on, often guiding Train and his friends and giving them strength, particularly during the final battle. While she was alive she wore a yukata, just because she thought she looked cute in it.

Train and Saya relationship was one of the most beautiful and angst in Black Cat. She is the one that make change open him eyes and become the sweaprt that we all know and love. She is the strongest relation that Train had in past, the one that make him change and erase the Black Cat, XIII Chronos Number, past. Saya positive way to life and strong heart fascinated Train a lot expecially bacause both of them were to cats that love live free. Even after her death she is near train helping him with her presence and gave him the necessary strongness to defeat Creed.
